We all need to give God praise for His help and blessings. Here is how Sissel did it. She blesses me with her talent.
God is the amazing architect of the universe and environment that we live in. Look at the following website for pictures of galaxies.
Scripture says that Jesus created all things (most likely speaking them into being and using the power of God the Father to make it all happen.)
Isa_45:12 I have made the earth, and created man on it; I with My hands have stretched out the heavens; and all their host have I commanded.
Eph_3:9 and to bring to light what is the fellowship of the mystery which from eternity has been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ;
Col_1:16 For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him.
Yet, even more amazing is the fact that this great God is very interested in every part of all our lives and desires us to pray to Him about all our decisions and needs. He is approachable, and especially cares about those who care about Him. He even knows the number of hairs on your head.
Luk_12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not fear, you are of more value than many sparrows.
He knows each person, even before they are born. This was spoken to Jeremiah, who answered God's call to service.
Jer_1:5 Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I consecrated you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.
Isa_43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; nor shall the flame kindle on you.
This promise was originally given to Jacob, but shows how God will care for all those who are His in Christ.
God can meet you any-where, even if you are up a tree trying to escape a real problem. Seek Him where-ever you are. He can help, but it may not be in a way that you expect. Pray, asking for help, then wait while looking for opening and closing doors of opportunity. Go in the direction that gives you the most peace and agrees with scripture. Give thanks while God is working and when you feel the problem is resolved.
See the lessons on "Good decisions" and "Knowing God's will" for further help.
Gen 9:11 And I will establish My covenant with you. Neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood. Neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
Gen 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature with you, for everlasting generations:
Gen 9:13 I set my rainbow in the cloud. And it shall be a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.
God shows His love for mankind in the rainbow. It is an everlasting agreement and shows He is very real and very alive and in control. Be encouraged!
